A born-and-bred New Yorker from Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Susan Gilman is a New York City–based film and theater actor. Her work is shaped by playwrights David Lindsay-Abaire, Jen Silverman, and Neil Simon, whose blend of wit, heart, and sharp observation she carries into every character she plays. Susan trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and The Freeman Studio. Prior to returning to acting full time, she worked in financial services.
